Convert Word to PDF

Converts your Word document (.docx) to PDF. Headings, lists, tables, images, headers, footers and page numbers are carried over; the PDF text stays selectable. Everything runs in your browser.

If Word is installed, File → Save As → PDF is easiest. This tool is for phones and computers without Word. Save old .doc files as .docx first.

The Word to PDF tool converts a .docx document to PDF without any software. Use it when Word is not installed, when you need to send a document from your phone, or when an upload form only accepts PDF. Heading styles, bold/italic/colored text, alignment, indents, bulleted and numbered lists, tables (including merged and shaded cells), images, page breaks, headers, footers and page numbers are carried over. Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times New Roman are replaced by open fonts with the same character widths, so lines break where they do in Word. The PDF contains real, selectable text. Charts, SmartArt, footnotes and EMF/WMF images are not included in this version. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Choose a Word document (.docx).
  2. Click Prepare.
  3. The PDF downloads with the document's name.
