PowerPoint to PDF

Converts a PowerPoint (.pptx) presentation to PDF, one page per slide. Text, shapes, images and simple tables are drawn as they appear in the file. Charts and SmartArt are not included in this version. Everything runs in your browser.

The PowerPoint to PDF tool converts a .pptx presentation into a PDF file, one page per slide. A PDF looks the same on every device and can be sent, printed or shared without presentation software. Each page takes the size of its slide, usually 16:9. Text boxes, filled and outlined shapes, pictures, groups and simple tables are drawn as they appear in the file. Charts, SmartArt, embedded objects and EMF or WMF pictures are not included in this version; they are skipped and reported after the conversion. Hidden slides are skipped too. The result is an image-based PDF, so its text cannot be selected or searched.

How to use it

  1. Choose a PowerPoint file (.pptx) or drag it into the box.
  2. If your file is an old .ppt, save it as .pptx in PowerPoint first.
  3. Click Prepare. Each slide is drawn in your browser, one after another.
  4. The PDF downloads with the original file name. Skipped items are listed in the message under the button.

Frequently asked questions

Can I select or copy the text in the PDF?

No. Each slide is placed in the PDF as an image, so the text cannot be selected, copied or searched. If you need the text, open the presentation in PowerPoint and copy it from there.

Are animations and fonts kept?

Animations and transitions are not included; each slide is drawn in its final state. Fonts are drawn with the fonts installed on your device. If a font from the presentation is missing, a similar one is used, so line breaks may shift slightly.

Why are charts and SmartArt missing?

This version does not draw charts or SmartArt. Those areas stay blank, and the result message says how many were left out. For a complete result, use the Save as PDF option in PowerPoint itself.

Is my file uploaded to a server?

No. The presentation is read and the PDF is built in your browser. No file is sent to a server, and the file is removed from memory when you close the page.
