Build a fillable PDF form

Build a new fillable PDF form from ready-made blocks. Add the blocks in order; when a page fills up, a new page starts. Download the PDF and fill it in Acrobat, Chrome or another PDF viewer. Processed in your browser.

No blocks yet. Add a block from above.

Format, calculation and button behaviour works in Acrobat and Foxit and may not work in some browsers. Fields stay fillable and values are saved.

The form builder creates a new fillable PDF from ready-made blocks: text and number fields, checkboxes, choice lists, dates, signature fields, calculated tables and buttons. Add the blocks in any order; a new page starts when the current one is full.

    How to use it

    1. Type a form title and choose the decimal separator.
    2. Add the blocks you need from the Add a block section, in order, and edit each label.
    3. For tables and totals, set the columns, the number of rows and whether to add a total row.
    4. Click Build and download PDF, then open the file in Acrobat, Chrome or another viewer and fill it in.

    Frequently asked questions

Do formats, calculations and buttons work in every reader?

No. These behaviours are written as PDF JavaScript and work in Acrobat and Foxit. In viewers such as Chrome the fields remain fillable and their values are saved, but calculations and buttons may not run.

Can I add rows to a table while filling it in?

No. The number of rows is fixed when the form is built. A table that does not fit on a page continues on the next one, and its header row is repeated.

Is the signature field a real digital signature field?

Yes, it is a PDF signature field that can be signed digitally with a certificate in Acrobat. You can also place a drawn signature with this site’s PDF signature tool.
